The short version:
My battle wasn't over, rather it only started. My husband at that time left me and I was forced to return to live with my parents. Surgery to remove my thymus resulted in a life threatening pulmonary emobolism. Additional diagnoses were added to my list, complicating the ability to treat any of them successfully.
Today, 12 years after it all started, I still fight. But now I fight through His strength, not my own. I haven’t been writing on here regularly anymore and I do things much differently now than I used to, so it’s possible some things are outdated. But here you can find a history… my testimony… of how Gods strength is made perfect through weakness.
This story is about me, but really it's not about me…
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
